Scoring Summary :
Strong wind gusts at the stadium blowing out to right center field.
Weston Wilson tripled in the first inning and scored on a double by Gabriel Rincones Jr. Otto Kemp singled to score Rincones Jr. Garrett Stubbs homered to score two runs.
A walk and two singles scored a run for Gwinnett in the bottom of the first.
Rodolfo Castro singled in the second and went to third on a double by Weston Wilson. Gabriel Rincones Jr hit a sacrifice fly to score Castro. Otto Kemp doubled to score Wilson.
Two singles, a fielders choice and throwing error (catcher Garrett Stubbs) scored a run for Gwinnett in the second.
Cal Stevenson walked in the third, stole second and then advanced to third on a throwing error. Oscar Mercado singled to score him. Two walks and a single by Gabriel Rincones Jr scored another run.
José Devers homered for Gwinnett in the bottom of the third. Eddy Alvarez hit a two run home run for them in the fourth.
Oscar Mercado walked in the 5th and Justin Crawford singled. They both scored when Gabriel Rincones Jr reached second on a fielding error by Gwinnett left fielder Alex Verdugo.

Gwinnett scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh, two on a home run by Eddy Alvarez.

Starter Alan Rangel went four innings yielding five runs - four earned on six hits and five walks. Nicholas Padilla and Austin Schulfer each threw a scoreless frame with two strikeouts. John McMillon gave up three runs in two thirds of an inning on two hits and a walk. Nick Vespi allowed an inherited runner to score plus yielded one credited to him in one third of an inning. Koyo Aoyagi threw two perfect innings with one strikeout to close out the game - 25 pitches - 14 strikes, he’s found a groove.

Eduardo Lopez walked in the third, advanced to second on a balk and scored on a single by Zach Arnold.
Luis Caicuto singled in the fourth, a wild pitch moved him to second, a grounder to third, he scored on a single by Carson DeMartini.
Dylan Campbell homered in the fifth inning. Eduardo Lopez and Bryson Ware singled - Lopez later scored on a wild pitch.
A single, double and wild pitch scored a run for Greensboro in the 5th inning.

Extended Spring Training :
I watched parts of the Blue Jays and Phillies extended spring training (XST) game today - Griffin Burkholder took a couple of AB’s - on the first pitch he saw he lined a double to left field - will report more in tomorrow’s round up.
On Monday the (XST) Phillies bussed over to Tampa to play their counterparts from the Yankees - the Yankees prevailed 3-2 in a seven inning contest.

Alirio Ferrebus, Jaeden Calderon and Francisco Loreto each doubled. Loreto also singled and had an RBI. Victor Cardoza hit a sacrifice fly to score the other run.
