International League ( AAA ) - Lehigh Valley 10 ( 9-9 ) Rochester 1 ( 9-9 )


Allentown, PA - Coca-Cola Park


Summary :


Donovan Casey was hit by a pitch in the second inning, he proceeded to steal both second and third base and then scored on a wild pitch.


Yairo Munoz singled in the third inning, Will Toffey walked - they both moved up on a ground out and then scored on a double by Donny Sands.


Lehigh Valley loaded the bases in the 5th inning on a hit batter and two walks. Austin Wynns walked to score a run, Darick Hall grounded into a fielder’s choice to score another.


The Iron Pigs scored six runs in the 8th inning - Dustin Peterson singled, Jorge Bonifacio and Yairo Munoz walked. Will Toffey walked to score a run. John Andreoli singled to score two more. Roman Quinn walked to re-load the bases. Austin Wynns singled to score three runs.

Reading, PA - First Energy Stadium


Summary :


Justin Connell hit a three run home run for Harrisburg in the second inning. Rudy Martin doubled for the Senators in the fifth inning and scored on a Jake Alu single.

Reading scored three times in their half of the fifth inning. Josh Ockimey walked and scored on a Logan O’Hoppe home run. Madison Stokes then went back to back with a tater of his own.


Harrisburg scored a run in the 8th inning.


On The Hill :

South Atlantic League ( High A ) - Jersey Shore 13 ( 6-9 ) Asheville 6 ( 2-13 )

Summary :


Cristian Gonzalez hit a two run home run for Asheville in the second inning.


McCarthy Tatum doubled in the third inning and scored on a double by Johan Rojas. Rojas scored on a single by Casey Martin.


Carlos De La Cruz homered in the fifth inning.


Asheville loaded the bases in the 8th inning on a walk and two hit batters, a wild pitch allowed a run to score. A double by Nerio Rodriguez scored three more.


Jersey Shore scored a bunch ( 10 runs ) in the bottom of the 8th as Nicolas Torres and Johan Rojas drew walks and Torres scored on a throwing error by Asheville’s third baseman on which Casey Martin reached base. Nick Matera singled to score two runs. DJ Stewart reached on an error, Jared Carr singled to load the bases. Carlos De La Cruz & McCarthy Tatum drew bases loaded walks to score two more runs. Nicolas Torres then cleared the bases with a three run double to plate three in his second plate appearance of the inning. Johan Rojas legged out an infield single in his second plate appearance of the inning. Casey Martin walked to re-load the bases. Baron Radcliff singled to score another two runs. The ten runs set a Jersey Shore franchise record for runs in an inning. Fifteen batters came to the plate in the frame.

Florida State League ( Low A ) - Clearwater 8 ( 7-8 ) Tampa 1 ( 6-9 ) 🧹


Clearwater, FL - BayCare BallPark


Summary :


The Threshers completed the series sweep 🧹 against Tampa winning all six games in the set.


Jason Dominguez hit a first inning home run for Tampa.


In the bottom of the first Hao Yu Lee singled and scored on a three base error by the Tampa first baseman on a hard hit ball by Jadiel Sanchez that went all the way to the fence down the right field line.


Arturo DeFreitas singled in the second inning and scored on a double by Marcus Lee Sang.


Felix Reyes hit a three run home run in the 6th inning scoring Jadiel Sanchez ( walked ) and Aldrem Corredor ( singled ) in front of him.


Aldrem Corredor singled to score Hao Yu Lee ( walked ) in the 7th inning.


Marcus Lee Sang singled in the 8th inning, moved up on two HBP and scored on a wild pitch. Jamari Baylor ( one of the HBP ) scored on a groundout by Yhoswar Garcia.


On The Hill :
