International League (AAA) - Syracuse 10 (14-13) Lehigh Valley 4 (16-12)

NBT Bank Stadium - Syracuse, NY


How they scored :


A triple and hit batter followed by a three run home run (former IronPig Christian Arroyo) scored three runs for Syracuse in the first inning.


Christian Cairo walked in the second inning and scored on a home run by Carter Kieboom.


Sergio Alcantara singled in the third inning, went to second on a throwing error and scored when Otto Kemp singled.


Carter Kieboom doubled in the fourth, went to third on a single by Liover Peguero. Oscar Mercado hit a sac fly to score him.


Another former IronPig, Cristian Pache homered for Syracuse in the fourth inning.


A hit batter, two walks and a passed ball scored a run for Syracuse in the fifth inning.


A single, walk, throwing error and sac fly scored a run for Syracuse in the sixth inning. Ryan Clifford hit a two run home run for them in the seventh.


Two singles and a double scored two runs for Syracuse in the eighth inning.

WHEN THE TANK COMES ROLLING IN: For the first time in franchise history, the 'Pigs have a change at manager mid-season. With AC moving to the big league club, bench coach Chris "Tank" Adamson takes over as 'Pigs skipper for the remainder of the season. Adamson has been the bench coach under AC since the 2024 season. Adamson last managed in the FCL in 2022 and had skippered Jersey Shore the year before that. Brady Day homered in the bottom of the third inning. Carter Mathison homered in the fifth inning.


Hudson Valley scored three runs in the seventh inning on a walk, double, two singles and a throwing error.


Carter Mathison walked in the bottom of the seventh, stole second, went to third on a wild pitch and scored on a ground out by Trent Farquhar. John Spikerman walked, stole second and scored on a single by Devin Saltiban.


Kaeden Kent hit a three run home run for HV in the eighth inning.

CHANGING COASTS: For the first time in the 2026 season, the Clearwater Threshers will play a team from the East Division. Through the first four series, the Threshers have amassed an 11-10 record against the West Division of the Florida State League, splitting three of the first four series. Last season, Clearwater played against all four teams in the EastDivision, totaling a 14-15 record in interdivisional play, with a 3-3 record against the Palm Beach Cardinals in 2025. The Threshers continue their road trip along to Daytona next week, before a six-game road series in St. Lucie in June completes the Threshers’ 18 road games against the East Division in the first half of the season.
