International League (AAA) - Syracuse 6 (17-13) Lehigh Valley 3 (16-15)

NBT Bank Stadium - Syracuse, NY - five innings - rain shortened


How they scored :


Steward Berroa reached on a fielding error in the first inning, stole second and went to third on a single by Otto Kemp.  Bryan De La Cruz grounded out to score Berroa.


A single and three walks scored a run for Syracuse in the third inning.


Syracuse scored five runs in the fourth inning on three singles, a hit batter and two doubles.


Carter Kieboom singled in the fifth, Liover Peguero walked. A wild pitch moved them both up. Robert Moore singled to score a run. A balk scored another run.


The game went into rain delay in the middle of the fifth inning.


At Bat : 3 R, 4 H, 3 BB, 4 K’s


Otto Kemp had two hits (singles).


On The Hill : 6 R, 6 H, 5 BB, 5 K’s

How they scored :


Dante Nori walked to lead off the game, Bryan Rincon doubled, Nori was thrown out at the plate trying to score. Carson DeMartini walked. Alex Binelas singled to score Rincon. Aroon Escobar grounded out to score DeMartini.


A double and single scored a run for Hartford in the bottom of the second.


Dante Nori doubled in the third inning, he scored on a single by Bryan Rincon. Carson DeMartini hit a two run home run. Alex Binelas walked, Kehden Hettiger singled. Binelas scored on a ground out by Raylin Heredia.


A walk and two singles scored a run for Hartford in the bottom of the third.


Bryan Rincon homered in the fourth inning.


Bryan Rincon singled in the sixth and went to third on a single by Carson DeMartini. They pulled off a double steal with Rincon scoring.


Dylan Campbell doubled in the eighth inning and scored on a single by Dante Nori.


Kehden Hettiger walked in the ninth, went to third on a double by Austin Murr. Hettiger scored on a wild pitch. Dylan Campbell walked, Dante Nori singled to score Murr.


Hartford scored a run in the bottom of the ninth on a double, walk, wild pitch and single.

Kehden Hettiger had two hits (singles) and a walk. Alex Binelas had two hits (singles) and a walk. Dylan Campbell and Austin Murr each doubled.

Note :


RHP Eiberson Castellano, a former Phillies minor leaguer started for Hartford, it marked his third start this season against Reading. The Fightins scored seven runs (five earned) against him in his four innings of work in this game.

More on Thursday Night - The Fightin Phils 11 runs in the top of the third inning on Thursday night is believed to be their most runs scored in a single inning since the R-Phils scored 13 runs in the fifth inning against New Britain on July 2, 2007, in a 21-4 victory. It was also the first time Reading scored more than 10 runs in an inning since June 13, 2023, at home and also against Hartford. Carson DeMartini also had two hits in the third inning, which marked the first time a Fightin Phil collected two hits in the same inning since Marcus Lee Sang did it on May 22, 2024, against Binghamton. Hudson Valley scored twice in the fourth inning on a double, single, stolen base, ground out and wild pitch.


Raider Tello singled in the bottom of the fourth, went to second on a ground out and scored on a single by Nick Biddison.


Luis Caicuto reached on an error in the fifth and went to third on two wild pitches. Trent Farquhar walked. John Spikerman singled to score Caicuto. Jose Colmenares hit a three run home run. Kodey Shojinaga walked, Raider Tello singled. Brock Vradenburg doubled to score Shojinaga. A wild pitch allowed both Tello and Vradenburg to score.


A double, stolen base and ground out scored a run for HV in the sixth inning. A triple and passed ball scored a run for them in the eighth.


Two doubles and two singles scored X runs for Hudson Valley in the ninth inning.

Griffin Burkholder singled to lead off the game, he went to third base on a double by Alirio Ferrebus.  Nolan Beltran grounded out to score Burkholder.


A fielding error, walk and single scored a run for Palm Beach in the third inning.


Alirio Ferrebus and Nolan Beltran singled in the fourth inning, they scored on a three run home run by Jonathan Hogart.


A walk and two singles scored a run for Palm Beach in the bottom of the fourth.


Nolan Beltran walked in the sixth, Matthew Ferrara singled. Juan Villavicencio walked. Jonathan Hogart was hit by a pitch to score a run. Manolfi Jimenez hit a sacrifice fly to score another.


Manolfi Jimenez reached on an error in the ninth, went to third on a ground out and scored on a passed ball.
