Fightin’ Their Way To The History Books - Reading set some new watermarks in its 20-0 blowout victory over New Hampshire yesterday. The scoring outburst was the Fightins’ first 20- run performance since downing Bowie 21-4 on July 8, 2016. It’s also the third 20+ run showing since at least 2005 (21-4 win vs. New Britain on July 2, 2007). In all, this is the largest positive run differential since at least the 2005 season as well. Greensboro plated two first inning runs on three walks, a single and ground out. They hit four home runs (Camden Janik, Yordany De Los Santos, Easton Carmichael & Tony Blanco Jr) and scored six runs.


Greensboro scored four runs in the fourth inning on a walk, two doubles, single, sac fly and fielding error (shortstop).


Raider Tello doubled in the bottom of the fourth and later scored on a ground out.


Greensboro scored four more in the fifth on three walks, a hit batter, fielding error and two singles. Two singles and a double scored two more for them in the seventh.


Carter Mathison homered in the ninth inning. Joel Dragoo walked, John Spikerman reached on an error and Trent Farquhar singled. Nick Bidderson singled to score a run. Raider Tello singled to score a run. Devin Saltiban doubled to score three runs.

Angel Mata and Griffin Burkholder singled in the seventh, Keaton Anthony doubled to score a run. Nathan Humphreys singled to score a run.


Juan Villavicencio homered in the eighth inning.


Keaton Anthony singled to begin the ninth inning, Jaeden Calderon pinch ran for him. Nathan Humphreys doubled. Juan Villavicencio was intentionally walked. Manolfi Jimenez grounded into a forceout to score Calderon and Tyler Pettorini delivered a two out single to score Humphreys for the walk-off win!
