The Blue Claws put runners on first and third in the ninth inning ( Nate Fassnacht doubled and went to third on a ground out ... Hunter Markwardt walked ) ... they attempted a double steal and Fassnacht was called out at the plate ... it got Jersey Shore Manager Tank Adamson ejected for arguing the call ... he was already irritated as the umpire had previously called a strike on Jose Tortolero earlier in the inning as he squared to bunt, pulled his bat back and was hit by the pitch ... the Umpire said he didn’t pull the bat back 😳.
SS Bryson Stott saved the day though with a single to right field that scored Markwardt with the game tying run.
The Blue Claws loaded the bases in the top of the 10th on two walks with the placed runner already on. Nate Fassnacht hit a two out grand slam home run to plate four !
