POWER SURGE: Coming into last Wednesday the 'Pigs had hit just five homers in the month of May and just one over the past week. They popped off for three homers Wednesday morning with Felix Reyes going deep twice and Bryan De La Cruz also going yard. Both Reyes and De La Cruz went yard again on Thursday night, just the fourth time this year they've had a string of back-to-back games with multiple homers, the last time coming 4/19+4/21. They've also now homered in three straight games, the first time since they went yard in four straight from 4/28 thru 4/28. They extended their streak to four straight games as De La Cruz went yard again on Friday, his third consecutive game with a longball.
