Each year I circle the Major Leagues periodically during the season to ascertain how the 26 players on each active roster were obtained. Here’s a look at the National League as of today - rosters change throughout the league every day so this is merely a snapshot in time. The National League at present is pretty evenly distributed overall with 34% internally developed, 30 % via free agency and 29 % via trades. Note that the rebuilding Rockies lead the way with internally developed players, they are taking their lumps with only six wins in thirty four played.  Just some data - it always intrigues me how rosters get built.

Happy Day, Happy Baseball ⚾️
