International League ( AAA ) - Lehigh Valley 13 (41-16) Norfolk 4 (20-36)

Norfolk, VA - Harbor Park


Scoring Summary :


A single, stolen base and single scored a run in the first inning for Norfolk.


Cal Stevenson singled in the second inning. Rafael Lantigua walked. Justin Crawford singled to score a run, he then stole second base (20th of season). Otto Kemp singled to score two runs.


Buddy Kennedy and Gabriel Rincones Jr led off the third with walks. Christian Arroyo doubled to score a run. A wild pitch scored another. Cal Stevenson walked, Rodolfo Castro was hit by a pitch and Rafael Lantigua walked - that added a run. Justin Crawford singled to score two runs. Buddy Kennedy walked. Gabriel Rincones Jr hit a grand slam home run 💣.


Samuel Basallo homered in the bottom of the third inning.


Cal Stevenson walked in the fourth, Rodolfo Castro singled. Stevenson scored on a ground out by Justin Crawford.


Norfolk scored twice in the seventh on two walks, a single and double.

Justin Crawford had three hits, four RBIs and scored twice, he also stole a base. Otto Kemp had two hits and two RBIs. Gabriel Rincones Jr hit grand slam home run and walked three times. Christian Arroyo doubled. Buddy Kennedy, Cal Stevenson and Rafael Lantigua each walked twice.

Scoring Summary :


Erie scored three runs in the sixth inning on a solo home run by Thayron Liranzo followed by two walks and a two RBI double.


Eduardo Valencia hit a two run home run for Erie in the ninth inning.

Keaton Anthony had two hits (singles). Leandro Pineda doubled and walked. Luis Verdugo walked twice.

Scoring Summary :


Dylan Campbell walked in the first inning and stole second. Bryan Rincon was hit by a pitch. They pulled off a double steal - a throwing error by the pitcher allowed both to score.


Matt Kroon homered in the third inning.


Greenville scored a run in the fifth inning on two singles and a sacrifice fly.  They scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth on two singles and throwing error.


The game went into extra innings.


Dylan Campbell was the placed runner to begin the tenth inning. Bryan Rincon walked. Pierce Bennett singled to score a run.  A wild pitch allowed another run to score. Kehden Hettiger singled. Bryson Ware grounded out on which a run scored.


Greenville scored the placed runner in the bottom of the tenth on a fly out and ground out. A walk followed by a home run by Miguel Bleis re-tied the score.


Matt Higgins was the placed runner at second to start the 11th inning. Greenville used outfielder Albert Feliz to pitch. Zach Arnold walked. Jordan Viars was hit by a pitch. Bryan Rincon walked to force in a run. After a ground ball fielders choice  force at home recorded the first out a 6-4-3 double play ended the frame.


With two outs in the bottom of the eleventh a double scored the placed runner for Greenville.


Pierce Bennett was the placed runner to start the 12th inning - Feliz continued as pitcher for Greenville. Eduardo Lopez hit a two run home run.


Greenville scored the placed runner in the bottom of the 12th with a single and sacrifice fly.


At Bat : 9 R, 10 H, 4 BB, 7 K’s


Pierce Bennett (two singles & double) had three hits. Matt Kroon (single & HR) had two hits. Eduardo Lopez hit a two run home run and walked twice.

Scoring Summary :


Kodey Shojinaga walked in the fourth inning, Avery Owusu-Asiedu singled as did Carter MathisonRaider Tello walked to score a run. A balk call scored another run.


Bryce Arnold homered for Dunedin in the bottom of the fourth inning.


Avery Owusu-Asiedu singled in the sixth inning and scored on a home run by Carter Mathison.


A triple and three singles scored two runs for Dunedin in the eighth inning.


Diego Gonzalez walked in the ninth inning, Nikau Pouaka-Grego moved him with a sacrifice bunt. Dante Nori walked. Eduardo Tait singled to score Gonzalez.


At Bat : 5 R, 7 H, 6 BB, 8 K’s


Carter Mathison had two hits (single & HR) with two RBIs. Avery Owusu-Asiedu had two hits (singles) and scored twice. Dante Nori singled and walked twice.
