Summary :
Worcester scored a run in the second inning on a double and single. They scored a run in the 4th inning and two in both the 7th and 8th frames.
Ryan Cordell hit a solo home run in the 9th inning. Dalton Guthrie singled to score Darick Hall ( singled). Austin Listi ( walked ) scored on a fielding error.

Matt Vierling today became the 28th member of the 2018 draft class to make his major league debut. Along with Alec Bohm the Phillies have two players from that class in the major leagues. The Kansas City Royals with 5 players are the only other club with more from the 2018 class to date. Matt is the 11th position player from the 2018 draft to now have played in the major leagues.
Before the game C Herbert Iser was assigned to the LHV roster from Jersey Shore. With Rafael Marchan being promoted to the Phillies the Iron Pigs were down to one receiver. OF Adam Haseley was placed on the 7 day IL with a groin strain.
Double A NorthEast League - Harrisburg 5 ( 14-26 ) Reading 3 ( 14-27 ) - 10 innings
Summary :
Mark Appel had easily his best outing of the season allowing just one hit over five innings and walking none.
Rodolfo Duran hit a two run home run in the seventh inning.
Harrisburg scored a run in the bottom of the seventh and tied the game with a run in the eighth inning.
Bryson Stott legged out an infield single in the 10th inning on which placed runner Luke Miller scored when Harrisburg’s pitcher turned his back to him while covering first base … heads up base-running by Miller who never hesitated rounding third on the grounder to the right side of the infield.
Harrisburg tied the score in the bottom of the 10th on a single and then walked it off with a two run home run by Cole Freeman.
On The Hill :

Former Phillies RHP Mario Sanchez pitched very well for Harrisburg. He went six scoreless innings before yielding a two run homer in the seventh inning. Brock Stassi left the game after reaching to his side on a swing in the 7th inning. He was replaced by Madison Stokes.
High A East League - Hudson Valley 8 ( 24-16 ) Jersey Shore 4 ( 17-23 )
Summary :
DJ Stewart singled to score Nate Fassnacht ( singled ) in the first inning. Hudson Valley tied the game in the bottom of the first. Vito Friscia hit a two RBI single in the third inning. HV scored a solo run in their half of the third.
DJ Stewart hit his 1st Blue Claws home run in the 5th inning, a solo shot.
Hudson Valley broke the game open in the 6th inning scoring five runs, they added another run in the seventh frame.

Summary :
Dunedin scored a run in the 5th inning. It was unearned due to a fielding error.
The Blue Jays scored six runs in the 6th inning on five hits and four walks.
In the 7th inning Casey Martin singled, advanced to second on a walk, to third on a balk and scored on a wild pitch. Kendall Simmons delivered a two run double in same frame.
Dunedin scored 2 more runs in the 7th on an error, 2 singles and a walk.
Baron Radcliff doubled to score Casey Martin ( doubled ) in the ninth inning.
