Other Notes

This week I was asked to be a guest on a talk radio show back home in the Philly area. I politely declined.  There are occasions where I’ve done audio segments on shows but I’ve never enjoyed them. The most recent one I did a philly sportswriter chose to humiliate me on the air directly, that still bugs me as that individual thought doing so was funny.  While many folks seem to have a hard time believing it my true objective is to highlight the Player Development process and the people within it.

It’s never mattered to me if folks know who I am yet I think that I cover the PD process as thoroughly and detailed as much as anyone who does so, hopefully that’s respected by those who care to read the content provided daily.  To me it’s not about what I think (albeit some have told me I have become quite knowledgeable) but rather presenting facts and stories without belittling or being condescending.  You can’t succeed if ya don’t believe ya can - I believe in fostering the positive in writing about the development process - guess in both those regards I’m behind the times.  No talk shows or podcasts for me - not my thing but the written word is where I find solace.  Just sayin.

Happy Day, Happy Baseball ⚾️

We appreciate your factual writing style. It is a great place to catch up on the incremental progress of the prospects. It is difficult road for those trying to make the MLB and I am sure any support is welcomed.

Glad you turned those radio clowns down. Philly sports talk radio is the worst.
