Game One : Yankees 8 Phillies 7
Scoring Summary :
Victor Cardoza singled in the first inning and Francisco Loreto doubled. A wild pitch enabled Cardoza to score. Alirio Ferrebus singled to score Loreto.
A walk, hit batter, double and ground out scored two runs for the Yankees in the second inning. A single, throwing error (pitcher Juan Amarante), walk, single and double scored three runs for them in the third.
Victor Cardoza doubled in the fifth, Francisco Loreto walked. A ground out advanced them and a wild pitch enabled Cardoza to score. A balk call brought Loreto home.
A walk, stolen base, single and fielding error (shortstop Jose Familia) scored two runs for the Yankees in the sixth.
A fielding error by shortstop Jose Familia, two stolen bases and a throwing error by Familia scored a run for the Yankees in the seventh inning.
Victor Cardoza led off the bottom of the seventh with a home run. Francisco Loreto singled, Isaias Dipre pinch ran for him. Alirio Ferrebus singled. Angel Mata grounded out to score Dipre. Manolfi Jimenez hit a sacrifice fly to score Ferrebus.
The Phillies committed six errors in the game.

A single, triple and sacrifice fly scored two runs for the Yankees in the sixth inning. Two doubles scored a seventh inning run for them.

Scoring Summary :
The Marlins scored once in the first inning on a home run. They added four runs in the second inning.
Back to back home runs plated two runs for the Marlins in the fourth inning.
Eduardo Guillen singled in the fifth inning, stole second, advanced to third on a wild pitch and then scored on another wild pitch.
