International League ( AAA ) -  Lehigh Valley 7 (36-35) Worcester 6 (37-36)

On the Hill :


Six pitchers were used in the game, Jesus Cruz was most effective with two scoreless innings. Andrew Bellatti pitched a perfect ninth to seal the win.


At the Bat :


Darick Hall had three hits (two singles and a double) and walked once. Dustin Peterson, Weston Wilson, Simon Muzziotti and Scott Kingery each had two hits.  Wilson, Haley and Kingery each doubled.  Simon Muzziotti and Dustin Peterson each homered.


Did Ya Know?


Taylor Lehman gave up three runs in his first 2.2 innings with the 'Pigs, walking five while striking out one. David Parkinson went six innings, four runs on six hits, one walk and nine strikeouts.  Andrew Baker stranded three inherited runners in the 8th by retiring the only batter he faced.


At the Bat :


Oliver Dunn and Madison Stokes each had two hits, both doubled. Carlos De La Cruz singled and walked twice to extend his on base streak to 37 games.

Gunner Mayer went five innings, one run, three hits, four walks and seven strikeouts.  The bullpen pitched scoreless baseball, Tristan Garnett, Wesley Moore and Carlos Francisco each threw perfect innings, Tommy McCollum allowed no hits and one walk in his scoreless frame, two strikeouts.


At the Bat :


Nick Ward doubled, the team was held to five hits.

Zach Haake started and went five innings.  Dominic Pipkin followed and pitched one and two third innings.  Konnor Ash pitched one and one third scoreless frames.  Jonh Henriquez earned his first save going two innings, one unearned run on two hits.


At the Bat :


Ricardo Rosario and Jordan Dissin each had two hits, Rosario hit two home runs and drove in three runs, Dissin singled and homered and also drove in three runs.  Emaarion Boyd doubled and stole his 37th base of the season.

Braeden Fausnaught earned the first win of his career Thursday.  Andrew Walling struck out five of seven batters faced.  The Threshers bullpen did not allow a run. Justin Crawford extended his hitting streak to  12 games. Summary :


The Guardians scored a run in the third inning on a double and triple.


Manolfi Jimenez tripled to score two runs in the 6th.


The Guardians scored a run in the seventh, the Phillies plated three highlighted by run producing singles by Erick Barria and Juan Villavicencio.


The Guardians scored twice in the 8th, the Phillies scored three, Brahian Silva doubled to score two of them.


On the Hill :


Seventeen year old Luis Gonzalez pitched five innings, one run, three hits, no walks and four strikeouts.  Juan Melendez pitched two innings, one unearned run, three hits, no walks and one strikeout.  Luis Alcala went two innings, two unearned runs, two hits, one walk, four strikeouts.


At the Bat :


Brahian Silva doubled, Manolfi Jimenez tripled.  Jaeden Calderon walked three times, Nolan Beltran and Victor Cardoza walked twice.



Colorado 9 (10-4) Phillies White 8 (9-5)

Summary :


The Rockies scored four runs in the first inning on three singles, a double, hit batter and walk.


Starlyn Caba singled in the third inning and scored on a Jerffson Pena double.  A second run scored on an error.  The Rockies scored a run in the bottom of the inning on a bases loaded walk.


Starlyn Caba and Jerffson Pena had RBI singles in the in the fourth as the Phillies plated two.


The Rockies scored four in the 5th, two on a home run by Gabriel Terrero.


Jose Marchan, Fernando Hernandez and Andres Tabares singled to load the bases, a passed ball scored a run.  Another run scored on an error.  Aroon Escobar singled to score a run, a wild pitch scored another.


On the Hill :


Cristian Diaz pitched three scoreless innings in relief, three hits, two strikeouts.


At the Bat :


Starlyn Caba, Jerffson Pena, Jose Marchan and Andres Tabares each had two hits.  Jerffson Pena and Angel Mata doubled. Caba and Pena each had two RBIs.



System Transactions :


Lehigh Valley : LHP Michael Plassmeyer re-signed to a minor league contract and re-placed on the 7-day IL.

OF Dalton Guthrie (designated for assignment on 6/16) has been traded to the San Francisco Giants for Cash Considerations.


Reading : Cam Cannon returned from his rehab assignment and reinstated from the 7-day IL.  Herbert Iser placed on the Development List.


Clearwater : RHP Dominic Pipkin’s minor league rehab assignment transferred from the FCL Phillies.
