Johan Rojas ( CF ) was 26 for 91 ( .286 ) this month with Jersey Shore with an OBP of .333 - the mercurial 21 year old had 11 stolen bases, 2 home runs, 6 doubles and 9 RBIs. He continued to play stellar defensive center field, gets to baseballs that most cannot. For the season Johan now has 33 stolen bases in 34 attempts. His pre-season goal of 50 is well within reach.
Today the young man was promoted to the AA level Reading Fightin Phillies.

In addition 1B Josh Ockimey & IF Ali Castillo have been promoted to Lehigh Valley from Readding.
The organization has also signed 24 year old infielder AJ Graffanino and assigned him to Reading. He was released on June 28th by the Baltimore Orioles. Graffanino was playing for AA level Bowie when released and hit .226 in 62 AB’s for them. An original draft choice of the Atlanta Braves ( 8th round - 2018 - University of Washington ) he’s the son of former major league player Tony Graffanino.
