Echedry Vargas hit a two run double for Tex Blue in the third inning.
Nolan Beltran walked in the 5th inning for the Phillies, went to second on a wild pitch, to third on a ground out and scored on a wild pitch.
Tex Blue added two runs in the sixth on a walk, double, single and ground out.
Raylin Heredia tripled in the bottom of the ninth for the Phillies and scored on a groundout by Nolan Beltran.
Ezequiel Ventura took the loss for Phillies White, he pitched 4 2/3 innings ( 2 R - 1 Earned, 5 H, 1 BB, 1 K ).
Here’s what Baseball America wrote about Beltran when he signed this January :
“Nolan Beltran, SS, Colombia: Beltran is from Colombia but trained in the Dominican Republic, where he stood out for his offensive upside from the left side of the plate. He has grown to around 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, evolving from more of a line-drive hitter into a player starting to drive the ball for damage to his pull side with impressive exit velocities for his age. He has a chance to stick at shortstop, too, with quick feet, good hands and an average arm.”
