Tonight’s scrimmage was without big league umpires ... Greg Brodzinski served as the home plate ump ... great to see him back on the field !
Bryce Harper doubled to right field in the top of the first inning against Jake Arrieta
Josh Harrison tripled to center field against Arrieta in the top of the fourth ... he scored on an infield ground out by Phil Gosselin
Phil Gosselin singled to score JT Realmuto in the fifth inning ... the inning was rolled with two outs as Enyel De Los Santos reached his pitch count
Josh Harrison doubled in the top of the 7th to plate a run ... he had two extra base knocks tonight
Kyle Garlick doubled down the right field line in the bottom of the 7th against Spencer Howard pushing Logan Forsythe ( walked ) to third ... Deivi Grullon hit a sac fly to center to score Forsythe
Phil Gosselin had five hits ( 4 singles, 1 double ) in the scrimmage ... he scored in the 8th inning on a ground out by Ronald Torreyes ... Phil batted twice in the 8th inning even though the team didn’t bat around ... only in Intrasquad games 🤓

Wednesday : 7/15/2020 :
JT Realmuto singled to RF to score Roman Quinn ( walked - stole second - went to 3B on error ) in the first inning against Mauricio Llovera.
Llovera was a bit up in the zone in his first inning but settled down nicely in the second inning.
Andrew Knapp is swinging the bat really well ... is right on the baseball.
Ramon Rosso worked three very impressive innings ... a lot of swings and misses on his secondary offerings ... change up and slider and FB was on the hands consistently
Nick Williams made a nice play on a ball off the RF wall hit by Andrew McCutchen throwing him out at 2B
Adam Morgan and Hector Neris each threw a scoreless frame ... Hector went four outs in his inning to get his pitches in
Bud Norris and Blake Parker each tossed a scoreless inning
Adam Haseley doubled off the center field wall in the sixth inning against Anthony Swarzak to knock in a run
Deolis Guerra tossed two scoreless frames
The scrimmage was only six innings ... ended in a 1-1 tie.
