The Threshers dropped three straight games in Lakeland this past weekend, moving them down to last place in the second half standings in the Florida State League West Division. For the first time since 2022, the Threshers have dropped their

overall record under .500. The next two weeks, however, give the Threshers an opportunity to get themselves back in the race for a postseason spot against two of the top teams in the division. First, the Bradenton Marauders come to town, entering the week leading the FSL West in the second half. Sitting 2.5 games behind the Marauders are the Tampa Tarpons, the Threshers opponents at home for the final three July games at BayCare Ballpark. This split series will continue on the road next week, with three games in Tampa and three in Bradenton to begin August. - Josh Sperber - Clearwater Threshers Broadcaster
