Notes :


Former Phillies minor leaguer and Reading hurler Mario Sanchez pitched six shutout innings for Harrisburg. We got to know Mario a bit during his rehab time in Clearwater after he had TJ surgery. Nice fella and great family.

Summary

D.J. Stewart’s 1-out walk-off single gave JS a wild 10-9 extra-inning win (first game of a doubleheader of 7-inning games). Hunter Hearn had a game-tying RBI single in B8 after Wilmington had taken the lead in T8. Stewart drilled a 2-run homer in B1 for a quick lead. Trailing 4-3, JS exploded for a 5-run B5 but the Rocks tied the game with 2 runs in the T6 and T7.
