International League ( AAA ) -  Lehigh Valley 12 (27-15, 63-52) Jacksonville 6 (24-19, 56-61)

Allentown, PA - Coca- Cola Park


Summary :


Xavier Edwards homered for Jacksonville in the first inning. A double (Jorge Alfaro), walk and single scored another.


Aramis Garcia singled in the bottom of the first, Darick Hall scored him with his 11th home run of the season.


Cristian Pache singled in the third inning, stole second, went to third on a throwing error and scored on a ground out by Jim Haley.


Aramis Garcia homered in the third inning.


Griffin Conine homered for Jacksonville in the fourth inning.


Scott Kingery singled in the bottom of the fourth and scored on a home run by Jim Haley.  Dustin Peterson hit a solo home run.


Brandon Marsh walked in the sixth and scored ahead of Aramis Garcia’s second home run of the game.


Cal Stevenson hit a three run home run in the seventh inning.


Jacksonville scored three runs in the ninth on three walks, a double and a fielding error.


On the Hill :


Shaun Anderson pitched five innings, three hits, five runs, two walks, one strikeout.  Jose Alvarado pitched an inning, no runs, no hits, one walk, two strikeouts.  Ben Bowden pitched a scoreless frame, two hits, two strikeouts. Braden Zarbnisky pitched an inning, no runs or hits, one walk, two strikeouts.  Taylor Lehman pitched the ninth, three runs - one earned, one hit, three walks, two strikeouts.


At the Bat :


Aramis Garcia had three hits (single and two home runs).  Darick Hall, Cal Stevenson, Jim Haley and Dustin Peterson each homered.  Hall and Cristian Pache each had two hits.   Drew Ellis doubled.



Eastern League ( AA) -  Somerset 22 (24-19, 66-45) Reading 3 (20-23, 48-63)

Summary :


Agustin Ramirez hit a two run home run for Somerset in the first inning.


Three singles and two sac flys scored two Somerset runs in the third inning.


Three singles scored a run for Somerset in the fourth inning, Jason Dominguez then hit a three run home run.


A walk, two singles, walk and wild pitch scored two runs for Somerset in the 6th inning.


Jhailyn Ortiz and Cody Roberts homered in the seventh inning.


Five singles, a walk and a double scored six Somerset runs in the 8th inning.


Somerset scored six runs in the ninth against catcher Herbert Iser and first baseman Jhailyn Ortiz who each took the mound.  Eduardo Torrealba hit a grand slam. Max Burt went back to back.


Herbert Iser homered in the bottom of the ninth.


On the Hill :


Zach Haake went three and a third innings, eight runs, ten hits, no walks, one strikeout.  Andrew Schultz pitched one and two third innings, no runs, no hits, one walk, one strikeout.  Andrew Baker pitched an inning, two runs, two hits, two walks, one strikeout. Carlos Francisco went one and a third innings, six runs, five hits, one walk, one strikeout.  Tristan Garnett pitched two thirds of an inning, no runs, one hit, one strikeout.  Catcher Herbert Iser and first baseman Jhailyn Ortiz pitched the ninth inning.


At the Bat :


Nick Ward doubled, Jhailyn Ortiz, Herbert Iser and Cody Roberts each homered.

Summary :


Justin Crawford singled in the first inning, Gabriel Rincones Jr doubled.  Crawford scored on a wild pitch. Kendall Simmons singled to score Rincones Jr.


Rixon Wingrove doubled in the 4th inning, went to third on a passed ball and scored on a sac fly by Leandro Pineda.


Kendall Simmons reached on an error in the sixth inning, Rixon Wingrove walked.  Simmons scored on Bryan Rincon’s first hit as a BlueClaw, a single to right field.


Cade Fergus walked in the seventh, stole second, advanced to third on a ground out and scored on another groundout - Pressureville has become Jersey Score 🤓.


Bryan Rincon doubled in the 8th inning and scored on a single by Leandro Pineda.


On the Hill :


Sam Aldegheri was very good, five shutout innings, two hits, no walks, six strikeouts. Jack Dallas pitched an inning, no runs, one hit, no walks, one strikeout.  Rodolfo Sanchez pitched a perfect frame, two strikeouts. Konnor Ash and Jason Ruffcorn each pitched a perfect inning to close out the win.  Ash struck out two batters.


At the Bat :


Bryan Rincon had two hits (single & double).  Gabriel Rincones Jr and Rixon Wingrove doubled.

Summary :


Two singles and a walk loaded the bases for Dunedin in the first inning, a double scored two runs.  A hit batter scored a third run and a single scored two more.


The Threshers loaded the bases in the bottom of the first, Emaarion Boyd walked, Ricardo Rosario and Felix Reyes singled.  Boyd scored on a double play ground out.


Jordan Dissin singled in the second inning, Jordan Viars doubled, Chad Castillo homered to score three runs.


Raylin Heredia doubled in the third inning, went to third on a wild pitch and scored on a sac fly by William Bergolla.


Bryce Arnold hit a two run home run for Dunedin in the fifth inning.


Ricardo Rosario walked in the bottom of the fifth, stole second and went to third on a fielder’s choice.  He scored on a Raylin Heredia ground out.


A double and single scored a sixth inning run for Dunedin.


Chad Castillo walked in the seventh, advanced to second on a balk and scored on a single by Felix Reyes.


A single and double scored a run for Dunedin in the 8th inning, a fielding error scored another.


On the Hill :


Alex McFarlane went 1/3 of an inning, five runs, four hits, two walks, one strikeout.  Braeden Fausnaught pitched four and one third innings, two runs, three hits, three walks, five strikeouts.  Josh Bortka pitched three and a third innings, three runs - two earned, five hits, no walks, six strikeouts.   Danny Wilkinson pitched a perfect inning, two strikeouts.


At the Bat :


Felix Reyes had two hits, Jordan Viars and Raylin Heredia doubled, Chad Castillo homered.

Summary :


Dakota Kotowski hit a two run home run in the first inning, his 15th of the season.  Diego Gonzalez hit a home run in the second inning.


The Yankees scored four runs in the fourth on three singles, three walks and a sac fly.


A.J. Shaver walked in the fifth, Dakota Kotowski singled and Yhoswar Garcia singled to score Shaver.


The Yankees scored twice in the bottom of the fifth on an error, hit batter, walk and single.  They scored a run in the bottom of sixth on two walks and a single.


The game was called after seven innings due to rain and lightning.


On the Hill :


Four pitchers were used, Hunter Loyd made his pro debut, he pitched to two batters before the weather caused the game to be called.


At the Bat :


Dakota Kotowski had two hits (single & HR) and two RBIs. Trent Farquhar and Diego Gonzalez also had two hits, Gonzalez homered.



Dominican Summer League :


Phillies Red 5 (25-26)  Phillies White 4 (41-12) - Five Innings

Summary :


Brahian Silva doubled for Phillies Red in the 2nd inning,  Dervin Andrade reached on a fielders choice.  Silva scored on a single by Yoangel Ramos. Isaac Ramirez tripled to score two runs.


Aroon Escobar hit a two run home run for Phillies White in the third inning. Singles by Angel Mata, Yemil Rosario and Jarol Martinez scored a run.


Brahian Silva doubled for Phillies Red in the 3rd inning,  Isaac Ramirez reached base on an error.  Singles by Erick Barria and Renair Manrique scored them.


Two walks, a balk and a sac fly by Juan Villavicencio scored a run for Team White in the fourth inning.


The game was called after five innings due to weather.


On the Hill :


Phillies Red :


Three pitchers were used, Raymon Rosario and Naoel Mejia each pitched two scoreless innings.


Phillies White :


Three pitchers were used, Maxwell Hernandez and Josbel Garcia each went two innings.


At the Bat :


Phillies Red :


Brahian Silva doubled twice.

Jarol Martinez had two hits, Aroon Escobar homered.
