Semi finals :
Four Pool winners - best of three series
Championship :
Semi Final winners - best of three series
Lehigh Valley :
Tommy Pham is red hot for the IronPigs - he’s hitting .393/.469/.679 with a 1.148 OPS in 15 August games (64 PA’s) with 8 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs and 18 RBIs - walked 8 times and struck out 11 times. In his last four games (8/14 - 8/19) he’s went 11 for 17 (.647) with six runs scored, three doubles and eight RBIs. The 38 year old signed with the Phillies as a free agent on 6/27/26.
Reading :
OF Raylin Heredia - the 22 year old from the Dominican Republic is having his best all around season - he’s continued to be “hot” in August - .324/.370/.574 with a .944 OPS in 16 games (68 AB’s) with 5 doubles, 4 home runs and 13 RBIs.
On the season he’s tied for 2nd in the Eastern League in runs (73), 1st - hits (132), 1st - doubles (32), tied for 3rd in home runs (21), 6th - RBIs (67), tied for 8th in batting average (.286), 10th - slugging (.497), 1st in Total Bases (229) and 9th in BABIP (.348)
The young man is a winner, he was a key cog in the 2022 DSL championship team, a member of Clearwater’s 2024 playoff team and right in the thick of this season’s push by Reading to win the second half Eastern League title. In my opinion he’s gonna be a big league contributor in the not so distant future.
Jersey Shore :
Outfielder Dante Nori (21 years old) is three games in on his rehab assignments (one game with Clearwater and two with Jersey Shore). He’s returning after spending most of the summer on the IL (placed on IL 6/7) with a pelvic injury. Now fully healthy the dynamic center fielder looks to pick up where he left off last season when he played at three levels (Clearwater, Jersey Shore & Reading) posting a very solid .261/.361/.372 slash line in 487 AB’s with 18 doubles, 12 triples, 72 runs scored and 52 stolen bases. He’s one of my favorites - very happy he’s back to good health and in action!
Clearwater :
Nineteen year old shortstop Matthew Ferrara has shown flashes of brilliance this summer. He took his lumps early in the year but is now on a very strong run - in July and August he’s posted a .301 batting average (37 for 123) with 8 doubles, a triple, home run and 21 RBIs with 19 walks and 27 strikeouts and has stolen 16 bases. He’s posted a .400 OBP in August in 60 plate appearances and a season best .831 OPS limiting his strikeouts to just ten while drawing six walks. He reminds me athletically of Trea Turner. The young man has legit tools and is certainly one to keep on the radar.
