In last night’s Reading game shortstop Bryan Rincon hit his 20th home run of the season. It brings his season totals to 23 doubles, 20 home runs and 25 stolen bases. Having 20 or more tallies in all three categories is a feat that according to my research that only eleven minor leaguers have done this season. Bryan’s teammate Raylin Heredia accomplished the task earlier in the year, they represent the only two minor league teammates on the same club for the entire year to do so in 2026 - there are a handful more players who will likely join the “Triple Twenty” Club before the minor league season ends but it’s really an unique accomplishment!
2026 players in the “Triple Twenty” minor league club to date :
Raylin Heredia - Phillies - 32 doubles, 21 HR, 22 SB
Bryan Rincon - Phillies - 23 doubles, 20 HR, 25 SB
Jacob Friend - Twins - 22 doubles, 20 HR, 23 SB
Jason Schiavone - Astros - 21 doubles, 25 HR, 26 SB
Josue De Paula - Dodgers - 32 doubles, 24 HR, 29 SB
Blake Burke - Brewers - 25 doubles, 31 HR, 28 SB
Colby Morales - Yankees - 20 doubles, 20 HR, 20 SB
Josh Caron - Mariners - 23 doubles, 20 HR, 25 SB
Joshua Baez - Cardinals - 22 doubles, 34 HR, 21 SB
Connor Hujsak - Rays - 26 doubles, 27 HR, 24 SB
Will Simpson - Rays - 23 doubles, 21 HR, 24 SB
I researched the last time a Phillies minor leaguer was in the “Triple Twenty” club going back to the 2000 season and there’s only been four to do it in the last 27 seasons 😳.
Scott Kingery - 2017 - 29 doubles, 26 HR, 29 SB
Dylan Cozens - 2016 - 38 doubles, 40 HR, 21 SB
Michael Taylor - 2009 - 28 doubles, 20 HR, 21 SB
Marlon Byrd - 2001 - 22 doubles, 28 HR, 32 SB
Congrats to both Bryan and Raylin - both are enjoying breakout offensive years - both are just 22 years old playing at the AA level where the average position player age is 23.7. By the way all four of the former Phillies players who reached the “Triple Twenty” club shown above reached the Major Leagues - the combination of speed and power are strong indications of big league skill sets. I’ve touted both Bryan and Raylin before - they are on a major league path - that’s good stuff!
