Mickey Moniak singled in the first inning to score Cornelius Randolph ( walked & went to second on infield single by Alec Bohm ). Moniak advanced to second base when Bohm was thrown out at third base. He went to third on a wild pitch and scored on a single by Matt Vierling.
SWB scored three in the second inning on a walk and three hits. They scored five more in the third inning on six hits.
Alec Bohm hit an RBI double in the fifth inning, he later scored on a fielding error.

Summary :
Bryson Stott homered in the first inning giving Reading an early 1-0 lead. Portland tied the score in the bottom of the inning on a single and double.
Sal Gozzo & Matt Kroon singled in the third inning, Bryson Stott walked to load the bases. Gozzo scored on a wild pitch. Madison Stokes doubled to score Kroon and Stott.
Danny Santana homered for Portland in the bottom of the third inning.
Matt Kroon led off the fifth inning with a home run. Bryson Stott doubled, went to third on a single by Josh Stephen and scored on a sac fly by Madison Stokes.
Brock Stassi singled in the eighth inning, Sal Gozzo walked, they both advanced a base on a passed ball. Matt Kroon hit a sacrifice fly to score Stassi, Bryson Stott singled to score Gozzo.
