Today at the Complex :
Watched BP and a live BP session this morning. In BP first baseman Rickardo Perez stood out in bunting drills, he used just one hand to bunt and consistently put down perfect bunts off the pitching machine - great technique, we watched three rounds of about 15 pitches each and don’t believe he missed one!
Wilmer Blanco, Adilson Peralta, Camron Hill, Marcus Morgan, Ryan Dromboski, Erik Ritchie and Eli Trop threw side sessions either in the lab or on the seven mounds as scheduled. Spencer Turnbull threw a side session in the seven mounds area.
Kleyderve Andrade and Orlando Gonzalez threw a two inning up-down live BP session.
Clearwater Ace Photographer Casey Burns and I had the pleasure of meeting Micah Nori (Dante’s dad) and Larry Tukis (Zack’s dad) today - always a pleasure to meet the parents and other family members of the players that it’s my honor to write about.
System Transactions :
Clearwater : RHP Blaine Knight has begun a minor league rehab assignment with the Threshers.
