International League ( AAA ) -  Lehigh Valley 9 (32-22, 68-59) Syracuse 8 (19-33, 52-74) - ten innings

Allentown, PA - Coca-Cola Park


Summary :


Kody Clemens tripled in the first inning and scored on a ground out by Weston Wilson.


Two singles, two walks and a double scored three runs for Syracuse in the fourth inning.


Weston Wilson homered in the sixth inning, his 27th of the season.  Darick Hall walked and Dustin Peterson singled, a wild pitch moved them to second and third base, Simon Muzziotti singled to score two runs.


Two walks and a single scored a run for Syracuse in the eighth inning.  A double and single scored three more.


Darick Hall walked,  Dustin Peterson and Simon Muzziotti singled to load the bases in the bottom of the eighth. Esteban Quiroz singled to score two runs.  Rafael Marchan singled to re-load the bases.  Cal Stevenson walked to score a run.


The game went into extra innings tied at seven apiece.


Syracuse scored the placed runner in the tenth with two groundouts.


Drew Ellis singled to score placed runner Simon Muzziotti in the bottom of the tenth.  Aramis Garcia delivered a pinch hit single down the right field line to send Ellis to third base, Rafael Marchan singled to score Ellis for the walk off win!


Seventh walk-off win of the year with seven different players being the walk-off hero 👏.


On the Hill :


Tyler Phillips pitched six innings, three runs, five hits, two walks, seven strikeouts.  Hector Perez pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout in his IronPigs debut.  Noah Skirrow pitched 2/3 of an inning, four runs, three hits, two walks, two strikeouts. Taylor Lehman pitched one and out third innings, no runs, one hit, one strikeout. Jeremy Walker pitched the tenth inning, one unearned run, no hits or walks.


At the Bat :


Rafael Marchan, Esteban Quiroz, Dustin Peterson and Simon Muzziotti each had two hits.  Darick Hall doubled and walked twice, Kody Clemens tripled and Weston Wilson homered.

Damiano Palmegiani homered for New Hampshire in the second inning.  A walk, double and two singles scored two more runs.


Ethan Wilson hit a two run home run in the fourth inning.


Baron Radcliff homered in the sixth inning.


Carlos De La Cruz doubled in the seventh, singles by Oliver Dunn and Jhailyn Ortiz scored him.


On the Hill :


Zach Haake pitched five innings, three runs, five hits, three walks, five strikeouts.  Andrew Baker pitched one and a third innings, no runs, no hits, two walks, three strikeouts.  Carlos Francisco pitched two thirds of an inning, no runs, one hit, one strikeout. Dominic Pipkin pitched a scoreless 8th inning, one hit, one strikeout.  Orion Kerkering closed it, one inning, no runs, one hit, two strikeouts.


At the Bat :


Carlos De La Cruz had three hits (two singles & double).  Baron Radcliff had two hits (single & HR). Ethan Wilson homered.

Summary :


Andrick Nava walked in the second inning, Otto Kemp and Erick Brito singled to load the bases.  Jared Carr singled to score two runs.  Gabriel Rincones Jr doubled to score two runs.


Andrick Nava homered in the sixth inning.


On the Hill :


Mitch Neunborn was outstanding - five no hit, no run innings, one walk, ten strikeouts.  In his last two appearances at Lakewood including tonight - 10 IP, 0 runs, 0 hits, 2 walks, 19 strikeouts 👀😳Mitch features a put away split finger changeup that he holds between his ring and index finger - uses that with a fastball (91-94 mph) and slider.  As Greg Giombarrese said on tonight’s broadcast he’s the Mayor of ShoreTown Ballpark the way he’s pitched there 🤓.


Cam Wynne pitched an inning, no runs, one hit, one strikeout. Jonh Henriquez pitched an inning, no runs, one hit.

Matt Russell pitched a perfect eighth inning.  Jason Ruffcorn completed the shutout - one inning, no hits or walks, a runner reached on an error.


Tenth shutout of the year for the pitching staff 👏


At the Bat :


Andrick Nava had two hits (single & HR) and a walk. Gabriel Rincones Jr doubled and Matt Kroon tripled.

Summary :


Two doubles, a single and a sac fly scored two runs for Fort Myers in the first inning.


Emaarion Boyd was hit by a pitch in the bottom of the first inning, he stole second and third base then scored on a ground out by Zach Arnold.  Three walks loaded the bases with one out, William Bergolla grounded out to score a run.


Four walks scored a run for Fort Myers in the fifth inning.   


Alec Sayre homered for Fort Myers in the sixth inning, four singles and an error scored three more runs.


Zac Arnold singled in the sixth, Ricardo Rosario doubled.  Arnold scored on a sac fly by Raylin Heredia.


Ryan Leitch homered in the ninth inning.


On the Hill :


Braeden Fausnaught went four innings as the starter, two runs, three hits, two walks, three strikeouts.  Cam Brown pitched one third of an inning, one run, four walks.  Danny Wilkinson pitched one and two third innings, four runs - two earned, five hits, no walks, three strikeouts.  Brandon Beckel threw an inning, no runs or hits, one walk, one strikeout.  Hunter Loyd pitched an inning, no runs, one hit.  Casey Steward pitched an inning, no runs, four walks.


At the Bat :


Chad Castillo had two hits (single and double) and a walk.  Ricardo Rosario doubled.  Emaarion Boyd stole two bases giving him 53 for the season.  Ryan Leitch homered.
