International League ( AAA ) -  Lehigh Valley 5 (33-22, 69-59) Syracuse 1 (19-34, 52-75)

Allentown, PA - Coca-Cola Park


Summary :


Dustin Peterson homered in the first inning.


Drew Ellis doubled in the second inning, Cal Stevenson and Brewer Hicklen walked.  Ellis scored on a ground out by Scott Kingery.  Simon Muzziotti doubled to score a run.  Dustin Peterson singled to score two runs.


Jaylen Palmer homered for Syracuse in the third inning.


On the Hill :


Shaun Anderson was excellent, eight innings, one run, four hits, one walk, seven strikeouts. Yunior Marte pitched the ninth inning, one hit allowed, no runs.


At the Bat :


Drew Ellis hit two doubles, Dustin Peterson had two hits (single & HR) and three RBIs.  Simon Muzziotti doubled.

Summary :


A single and a double scored a run for New Hampshire in the third inning.


Devonte Brown hit a two run home run in the fifth inning for New Hampshire.


A double, walk, single, triple and single scored four runs for New Hampshire in the eighth inning.


Oliver Dunn and Ethan Wilson singled in the ninth inning, Rixon Wingrove hit a sac fly to score a run.


On the Hill :


Matt Osterberg pitched five innings, three runs, six hits, no walks, five strikeouts.  Cristian Hernandez pitched a scoreless inning, one hit, three strikeouts.  Keylan Killgore pitched an inning and a third, three runs, two hits, one walk, one strikeout.  Adam Leverett pitched an inning and two thirds, one run, four hits, no walks, two strikeouts.


At the Bat :


Oliver Dunn had two hits (single & double).  Marcus Lee Sang doubled.

Summary :


Gabriel Rincones Jr walked in the first inning, Matt Kroon singled, Leandro Pineda walked.  Kendall Simmons hit a sac fly to score a run.  A wild pitch allowed Kroon to score.


Justin Crawford tripled in the third inning, he scored on a double by Gabriel Rincones Jr.  Leandro Pineda and Kendall Simmons walked to load the bases.  Bryan Rincon hit a sac fly to score Rincones Jr.  Caleb Ricketts singled to score a run.


Two singles and three walks scored two runs for Aberdeen in the sixth inning.


Aberdeen scored three runs in the ninth inning on a walk, two singles and a double.


The game went into extra innings tied at five apiece.


Aberdeen scored the placed runner in the tenth inning with a walk and single. Another single scored a second run.


On the Hill :


Gunner Mayer went five plus innings, two runs, three hits, three walks, five strikeouts.  Carlos Betancourt pitched an inning, two inherited runners scored, one hit, two walks, one strikeout.  Wesley Moore pitched an inning and two thirds, no runs, one hit, one strikeout.  Wen Hui Pan pitched one plus innings, three runs, three hits, two walks. Jack Dallas pitched an inning and a third, two runs, one earned, two hits, one walk, three strikeouts.


At the Bat :


Justin Crawford singled and tripled. Gabriel Rincones Jr doubled, walked and scored twice.  Leandro Pineda walked three times.  Kendall Simmons singled and walked twice.

Summary :


Fort Myers scored five runs in the first inning on a double, four singles and three walks.


Keaton Anthony was hit by a pitch in the bottom of the first and scored on a double by Chad Castillo.


Bryson Ware walked in the second inning, stole second base, went to third on a wild pitch and scored on a single by Jordan Dissin.


A single, stolen base and single scored a run for Fort Myers in the third inning.  They scored a fourth inning run on a walk and double.  Jay Harry and Walker Jenkins hit back to back home runs for Fort Myers in the fifth inning.


Ricardo Rosario hit an inside the park two run home run in the fifth inning scoring Jordan Viars (singled) in front of him.


A walk, triple and single scored two runs for Fort Myers in the sixth inning.


Aidan Miller tripled in the seventh inning and scored on a sac fly by Jordan Viars.


On the Hill :


Jonathan Petit went just 2/3 of an inning, five runs, five hits, three walks and two strikeouts.  Eiberson Castellano pitched three and one third innings, two runs, three hits, three walks, three strikeouts.  Paxton Thompson went one and two third innings, four runs, five hits, one walk, four strikeouts.  Daniel Harper retired all four batters he faced, two by strikeout.


At the Bat :


Aidan Miller had two hits (singled and tripled), Chad Castillo doubled.  Ricardo Rosario homered.



Game Two :  Fort Myers 3 Clearwater 1


Summary :


Raylin Heredia singled in the first inning, he scored on a triple by Zach Arnold.


Two doubles and a single scored two runs for Fort Myers in the third inning.


A double, single and sac fly scored a run for Fort Myers in the sixth.


On the Hill :


Jean Cabrera pitched five innings, two runs, six hits, one walk, seven strikeouts.  Alex Rao pitched an inning, one run, two hits, no walks, one strikeout.  Josh Bortka pitched a perfect inning, one strikeout.


At the Bat :


Zach Arnold tripled.  The team was held to three hits.
