9/1/23 : Phillies Minor Leagues - August Standouts


The Phillies have historically issued minor league  “Player of the Month” awards.  Below are a few nominations for the August awards 🤔🤓.

Justin Crawford (Jersey Shore) - 19 years old - 2022 1st round draft selection - Bishop Gorman HS, Las Vegas, NV - stats with both Clearwater and Jersey Shore - promoted on 8/15/23 - 17 games, 28 for 68 (.412) with eighteen runs scored, seven doubles, triple, two home runs, nineteen RBIs, six stolen bases, nine walks - .474 OBP in 78 PA’s, .632 Slugging Percentage, 1.107 OPS


Oliver Dunn (Reading) - 25 years old - selected in Minor League Rule Five Draft from Yankees - 12/7/22 - 27 games, 29 for 97 (.299) with twenty runs scored, five doubles, triple, ten home runs, twenty nine RBIs - thirteen walks - .400 OBP, .680 Slugging Percentage, 1.080 OPS in 115 PA’s


Darick Hall (Lehigh Valley)  - 28 years old - 2016 14th round draft selection - Dallas Baptist University - 26 games, 31 for 103 (.301) with twelve home runs, twenty five RBIs, sixteen runs scored, twelve walks, .374 OBP, .689 Slugging Percentage, 1.063 OPS in 115 PA’s


Kody Clemens (Lehigh Valley) - 27 years old - acquired in trade with Tigers 1/7/23 - Tigers 3rd round draft selection - 2018 draft - University of Texas - 27 games, .405 OBP in 121 plate appearances, 25 hits and 24 walks with three doubles, two triples, nine home runs and twenty one RBIs, twenty three runs scored, .615 Slugging Percentage, 1.020 OPS in 121 PA’s


Leandro Pineda (Jersey Shore) - 21 years old - signed as an international free agent 7/6/18 - Valencia, Venezuela - 22 games, 27 for 79 (.342) with six doubles, two home runs, twenty-two RBIs, seven walks, .393 OBP, .887 OPS in 89 PA’s
