Austin Hays reached on a fielding error in the 6th inning, Buddy Kennedy and Rafael Marchan walked. Ryan McKenna walked to force in a run.
Tyler McDonough hit a two run home run (on a sweeper against Spencer Turnbull) for Worcester in the seventh inning.
A single, walk, throwing error and ground out scored a run for Worcester in the ninth inning.
Otto Kemp walked in the bottom of the ninth - he later scored when Jim Haley reached on a throwing error. Austin Hays walked. Carson Taylor singled to score a run. Buddy Kennedy walked. Darick Hall (in what may be his last AB as an IronPig) hit a loooong walk off grand slam home run! Great ending to the season for the all-time HR and RBI leader in IronPigs history! The ball went 418 feet over the right field wall and was hit at 115 mph 💣

Otto Kemp had two hits (singles) and a walk. Darick Hall doubled and homered (grand slam).
On The Hill : 4 R, 7 H, 2 BB, 10 K’s
Alan Rangel pitched five innings - 1 R, 3 H, 0 BB, 6 K’s - 68 pitches - 49 strikes. Spencer Turnbull pitched two innings - 2 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 2 K’s - 34 pitches - 23 strikes - showed a low nineties fastball, sweeper and curve ball. Michael Mercado pitched an inning - 0 R, 1 H, 0 BB, 1 K - 12 pitches - 9 strikes. Max Lazar pitched an inning - 1 R, 1 H, 1 BB, 1 K - 30 pitches - 19 strikes.

JETPAX & MONEY MIKE: The IronPigs announced that Scott Kingery was awarded 'Pigs Hitter of the Year and Michael Mercado was named 'Pigs Pitcher of the Year. Kingery leads the team in homers while completing just the second 20-20 season in franchise history. Mercado has the lowest ERA on the team (and lowest in the IL, minimum 60IP).
TIME IS A FLAT CIRCLE: As the 'Pigs wrap up the 2024 season, they are in the same place they started: at home against the WooSox. If it feels familiar, it should, as the IronPigs wrapped up the 2023 season against the WooSox at home...and the 2021 'Final Stretch' against Worcester at Coca-Cola Park as well. The 'Pigs do not begin or end the 2025 season against Worcester.
