Didi Gregorius was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the third inning to score Rhys Hoskins ( singled ). Jean Segura hit a sac fly to left field to score Bryce Harper ( walked ).
Ryan Lamarre hit a sac fly to score a run for New York in the fifth inning.
Nick Maton doubled in the seventh inning to score Matt Vierling ( reached on FC ). Luis Garcia doubled to score Maton. Bryson Stott singled to score Garcia.
Rodolfo Duran singled to score Roman Quinn ( walked & stole second base ) in the eighth inning.
Thairo Estrada led off the ninth inning for New York with a home run.

Zach Wheeler ( FB 94-97 ) went three scoreless innings ... 1 H, 1 BB, 4 K’s ... finished ST strong.
Vince Velasquez ( FB 92-95 ) yielded an unearned run in two innings pitched. He gave up three hits and struck out two batters. A lot of pitches - 35 ... 26 for strikes.
David Hale ( FB 92-94 ) pitched a scoreless sixth inning ... one walk and one strikeout.
Archie Bradley ( FB 92-94 ) tossed a scoreless seventh frame. One hit allowed and two strikeouts.
Connor Brogdon ( FB 94-96 ) tossed a scoreless eighth inning and struck out the side. He yielded one hit.
Brandon Kintzler ( FB 89-92 ) finished it out ... one run on one hit. Two strikeouts.
At The Plate : 9 hits & 5 walks as a team
Alec Bohm had two hits ( single & double ) and walked in three plate appearances. Both hits were smoked.

First baseman Rodolfo Duran made a nice stretch and pick of a low throw to end the sixth inning.
Catcher Rafael Marchan threw out a base stealer at second to end the seventh inning.

Mini Camp players on the roster today included pitchers Tyler Carr, Enyel De Los Santos and Jonathan Hennigan, Catcher Logan O’Hoppe, Infielders Luis Garcia, Darick Hall, Luke Williams and Bryson Stott and Outfielders Odubel Herrera, Matt Vierling and Johan Rojas.
Notes :
The Phanatic spent the bottom of the third inning on the roof of Frenchy’s Tiki Bar after swaying to the song “Up on the roof” 😄 ... most creative mascot in baseball 👍
After he left the game Odubel and Charlie had a good conversation on the dugout bench ... I think these chats are invaluable.
Ronald Torreyes has made the team, according to Joe Girardi. Makes sense with Scott Kingery being optioned earlier today. Team needed another utility infielder.
