Before the game the Phillies claimed 27 year old RHP Brady Lail off waivers from the Seattle Mariners. Lail has appeared in 11 major league games in his career with the Yankees, White Sox and Mariners, has primarily been in the minors. He was the Yankees 18th round draft selection in the 2012 draft. He’s got a four pitch mix with a fastball that sits in the 89-92 range which he couples with a slider, changeup and curve ball. He’s a reliever and has been assigned to the Iron Pigs roster. To make room on the 40 man roster RHP Ramon Rosso was designated for assignment.
Luke Williams is in Team USA’s training camp roster and is slated to participate in the upcoming Olympic qualifying tournament. Congrats to Luke for being selected to the roster !

Summary :

Jersey Shore loaded the bases in the bottom of the sixth inning on a HBP and two walks. LF Keaton Greenwalt stroked a two run single. DH Cole Stobbe singled to score another run.

Summary :
Dunedin used three singles to score twice in the first inning. They plated another run in the second frame on a single, stolen base, throwing error and wild pitch in that sequence 🤦♂️.
1B Rixon Wingrove doubled to score 3B DJ Stewart in the bottom of the second inning.
Dunedin scored twice in their half of the fourth inning on a two run home run.
SS Casey Martin doubled to lead off the Thresher’s fourth inning, he scored on a single by Stewart. Wingrove tripled to score Stewart.
The Blue Jays scored in the top of the fifth inning on a solo home run.
LF Nicolas Torres singled in the bottom of the fifth inning and stole second base. He scored on an RBI single by 2B Luis Garcia. Garcia advanced to second on an error and scored on an RBI single by DJ Stewart.
Casey Martin hit a solo home run in the eighth inning.
Luis Garcia hit a two run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning for the walkoff win !
