The game resumed with the Phillies leading 5-0 - they had scored a run in the first inning - William Bergolla singled, stole second and scored on a single by Darium Gutierrez. In the 5th inning Derek Escobar & Jarol Martinez singled - Escobar scored on a sac fly by Juan Villavicencio. William Bergolla singled to score a run. Darium Gutierrez doubled to score a run and Manolfi Jimenez singled to score Gutierrez.

The league announced it’s schedule today - play will begin on October 3rd with the regular season concluding on November 10th. The Phillies seven player contingent this year will play for the Surprise Saguaros alongside players from the Astros, Royals, Pirates and Rangers. Surprise, AZ is the joint spring training home of the Royals and Rangers.
