Notes on Phillies and former Phillies participating in fall/winter leagues from games played  on 10/21. Current Phillies bolded and underlined. Arizona Fall League :       10/21 : Dylan Campbell played third base, walked in three plate appearances and scored a run in game one of a doubleheader for the Surprise Saguaros in a 6-3 victory over the Glendale Desert Dogs.  Dante Nori returned to action in game two - he led off, walked twice, scored a run and played center field.

Youth Rising : The Phillies minor league system was described by some folks this past summer as being top heavy meaning that there were more “prospects” at the higher levels than lower. Given that the club apparently has plans to introduce more young home grown pieces into the major league puzzle next season - that seems to me to be a good thing 🧐. It’s expected that outfielder Justin Crawford will be afforded the opportunity to break spring camp with the major league team

Arizona Fall League :       10/19 : Dylan Campbell went 1 for 3 with a home run and played center field for the Surprise Saguaros in a 15-4 loss to the Scottsdale Scorpions . Arizona Fall League : 10/16 : RHP Tommy McCollum pitched 1.1 innings (1 unearned run, 1 H, 0 BB, 2 K’s - 25 pitches - 15 strikes - 15 four seam FB - 93 to 95 mph, 6 cutters, 2 sinkers and 2 changeup/ splitters) for Surprise in a 12-11 win over Salt River. Arizona Fall League : 10/15 : Dylan Campbell went 2 for 3 (singles) with a walk and two runs scored for the Saguaros in a 6-2 win. Campbell played right field, his fourth position in four games (has also played second, third and center field). He’s off to a great start hitting .455 (5 for 11) with a 1.497 OPS. RHP Jack Dallas pitched two scoreless innings in the game and was dominant - he allowed no hits,
