Twenty four year old free agent infielder Liover Peguero has signed a minor league contract for the 2026 season with the Phillies. He played last season for AAA level Indianapolis in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization and posted a .247/.313/.375 slash line with a .688 OPS in 75 games (303 plate appearances) with 14 doubles, 1 triple, 6 home runs, 40 RBIs, 27 walks, 59 strikeouts and 8 stolen bases. Free agent RHP Colin Peluse has signed a minor league contract with the Phillies. The twenty-seven year old was the A’s ninth round draft choice in the 2019 draft from Wake Forest University. Last season at AA level Midland in the Texas League he appeared in 47 games (58 IP) posting a 2.64 ERA with 8 holds, 54 strikeouts and 12 walks.
